Bunting continuous cast bronze bars of C93700 give superior quality and performance. Continuous
casting achieves a high density grain structure, free of porosity, resulting in a reduction of tool wear and
component rejects.

Solid and cored bars are stocked in 13" increments and 105" lengths, and are available in other
lengths and non-standard sizes. Consider bars for use when you need special bearings, bearings for
prototypes, or for emergency repairs.

Typical Properties: (Not to be used for specification purposes.)
 Copper: 78.00 – 82.00%
 Tin: 9.00 – 11.00%
 Lead: 8.00 – 11.00%

 Physical Properties: Continuous Cast
 Tensile Strength, PSI: 35,000 min.
 Yield Strength, PSI: 20,000 min.
 Elongation: 6% min.
Brinell Hardness (500 kg load): 60 typical
 Machinability Rating 80
 Minimum Operating Temperature -450°F
 Maximum Operating Temperature 500°F

C93700 has higher tin and lead than C93200 and is used in bearings with higher speeds and loads. It
has increased corrosion and oxidation resistance, with good anti-frictional properties, good load-carrying
ability and excellent machinability. C93700 can be used in applications where lubrication may be low or
interrupted.
